The Traffic Reporter will have responsibilities that include:

• Monitoring traffic patterns and incidents, including accidents, road closures, and construction updates, to deliver accurate and timely reports.
• Collaborating with local transportation agencies to gather the latest information and insights on traffic conditions.
• Presenting traffic updates during live broadcasts and online platforms, ensuring clarity and engagement for our audience.
• Utilizing traffic mapping tools and resources to provide detailed reports on major routes and alternative options.
• Engaging with listeners through social media, responding to inquiries and sharing traffic tips and updates.

Job Requirments

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, to cover peak traffic times.
• Proficient in using traffic monitoring tools and software; experience in radio broadcasting is a plus.
• Ability to think quickly and make decisions under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for engaging with the community.
